Hello! I’m back! Thank you for still following my little photography journey.
It’s been stop, start with three children to look after and I have also been busy working as a photographer for an adoption agency too.
Like many of you that may also be self-employed, it has been a terribly uncertain time and hard to navigate through the pandemic. I have had a sad and complex couple of years, losing my dear dad the day after our daughter was born and then off the heel of overwhelming grief with a newborn, some very serious health problems for my husband – three operations later, fighting for his life, whilst I was left in the covid lockdowns homeschooling. To say we have been challenged and anxious is an understatement.
BUT… onwards and upwards, I now have a gorgeous oak framed photo shed and I am offering mini photo sessions for babies and children throughout the year! I will always enjoy shooting outdoors too whenever possible, but with weather and time against me, I felt this was the perfect way to carry on my love of photography. Here are some examples from my bokeh themed Christmas mini sessions so far.
I have lots of themes and plans, but please do get in touch with any requests. My mini sessions are short and fun, I have props and silly banter to help, as natural smiles are my goal! It’s amazing how children can behave so differently in these sessions to what you may fear! As a busy mum, I really know how much professional photos of your children will mean to you. Otherwise the milestones pass you by in the mundane of everyday, as you scroll through rapid iPhone pics to try and reminisce. I am here to help capture some joy and hopefully inspire you to PRINT and enjoy your family photographs! I certainly treasure mine even more now.
